Smart wrote: Oh, I realized how to make it more closely to real interferencion. Try fallof with Shadow/Light type as mask for reflection :)

cryptocid wrote: а вот я немного не понимаю почему максимальная глубина отражения 12 ? и попробуй IOR 1.01 поставить вроде бы так правильней...если с таблицой сверятся...

LevaLeva wrote: Smart, пеши на буржуйском :) of course it was fake of interferention (not diffraction) :) A single bubble looks qute natural both with this material and the early version

Smart wrote: I've tested it myself, and I think it looks really good, but not like thin film from real life - your bubbles have colored reflections everywhere, but in real life they must come only from illumination direction. I don't know how to make it in max, but maybe this site will help you to realize how does it works if you will try to make third version: http://interferensia.com.ru/2.html Кстати, как лучше писать - на руссуом или нет? :))

amepapi wrote: OH - MY - GOD...I'm curious to see some architectural material of this quality... =)

Smart wrote: I like this one :) But now it looks more dirty, amount of refraction from first version was better I think. Btw this effect is not diffraction, it's interference - light rays which are reflected from bubbles are summing up, and resulting color becomes not white, but different colors from blue to red depending on the thickness and noise of thin film. And people, lets save "10" overall vote, ok? :P

Banshee wrote: @Capp: YOu might be right ;-) I´m quite excited to see your next materials!

capp wrote: @banshee i dont think that this one is perfect enough to become the first 10.00 material ever, because the reflections/highlights on the bubbles are not sharp enough ;-) but its a really cool work and for me a 10. for others might not. !!

Banshee wrote: OK now this one is perfect!!! Could well become the first 10.00 material ever :-)) How did you do this thin-film-effect?! Oh well, I will have a look myself now :)

capp wrote: NICE !!!! :-))

navray wrote: It would be great that someone with thw mastery of leva leva consider make a material similar to this one but like the sea foam with little bubbles...
