Comment Here is a variation of my weathered painted red iron material I recently posted. All I have done is used a vray dirt in the 2nd slot of the vray blend material diffuse channel. In the vray dirt slot I have used a bitmap, the same bitmap (rust) in both the occluded and unoccluded slots. Only difference i made was to alter the RGB
values in the output slot which lives in the occluded slot in the vray dirt channel. So now the vray dirt has a texture using 2 same maps, one slightly lighter and desaturated than the other. This simulates a dust mask over the model.
